Job Title: Python Engineer - Infrastructure as Code (IAAC)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IAAC) to join our dynamic team. This is a cross-disciplinary role that blends software engineering with operational expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building infrastructure and pipelines for large enterprises and will work closely with our platform and development teams to streamline and optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient infrastructure automation solutions using Python.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with platform teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions using Azure (preferred) or AWS.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments.
- Document processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in scripting and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAAC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficient with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (preferred) or AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of platform engineering and infrastructure architecture in large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure platform reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hybrid role combining software engineering and operations.
- Experience in platform build-out for large-scale, complex enterprise systems.
- Certifications in Azure or AWS are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
